AIM Engineer (Asset Integrity & Reliability)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is hiring an AIM Engineer in Karachi to deliver Asset Integrity and Reliability services. The role is a seller-doer position: it combines client relationship building, business development and proposal support with hands-on project execution, reporting to Syed Hasham Khalid.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients across the UAE and Middle East, and act as a trusted technical advisor on asset integrity, reliability, corrosion, inspection, RBI, FFS, APM and digital transformation.
• Visit clients regularly, give technical presentations and workshops, and support account management plans for strategic clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Operations, Commercial and the Technical Center teams, and prepare technical and commercial proposals, bid evaluations and client presentations.
• Monitor industry trends in oil & gas, energy, petrochemicals, power and industry, and convert client needs into projects with Regional Technical Center specialists.
• Take part in project execution as technical lead, project manager or subject matter expert, and help meet the Asset Integrity Business Unit's sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Deliver projects within budget, schedule and quality, and build repeat business and framework agreements.

Required profile

• Graduate engineer (B.S. degree or equivalent).
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with good technical writing.
• Average 10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred certifications: API 510, 570, 653, 580, 571, API 579-1 / ASME FFS-1, ASME PCC-2, ASM/ASTM root cause analysis, AMPP Senior Corrosion Technologist.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team, under pressure, and comply with HSE policies and reporting requirements.
