Application Specialist - Oracle EBS Functional

About the role

The Oracle Application Specialist provides functional support for Oracle ERP (Financials, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing), keeping the system running smoothly, resolving user issues, supporting enhancements and working with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle EBS modules, including Financials, SCM and Manufacturing, with a strong understanding of Work in Progress (WIP) and production processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle ERP issues reported by end users.
• Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and IT teams.
• Support ERP implementation, system testing, upgrades and patch deployments.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist users during testing and go-live.
• Provide end-user training and functional support on Oracle ERP processes.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides and process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle ERP, preferably in Financials, SCM or Manufacturing modules.
• Experience in UAT and system support.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP business processes and workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting ERP functional issues and supporting end users.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database concepts.
• Preferred: knowledge of ERP implementation and business process optimization, and strong reporting, documentation and data analysis skills.
