Apprentice – Power BI & Data Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical apprentice to support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and data analytics solutions. This position offers hands‑on exposure to data visualization, reporting, data transformation, and business intelligence within a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Support the development, writing, and testing of DAX measures.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation using Power Query.
• Handle data using Microsoft Access and Excel, including pivot tables and analysis.
• Support basic data modelling, including relationships and star‑schema concepts.
• Document report logic, data sources, measures, and visual structures.
• Assist in troubleshooting and improving existing reports and dashboards.
• Help the team prepare data‑driven insights and management reports.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science/Business Analytics, Software Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or candidate with relevant academic/project experience.

Required skills

• Power BI Desktop – report and dashboard development.
• DAX – basic to intermediate proficiency.
• Power Query / M language – data transformation and cleaning.
• Microsoft Excel – data handling and pivot tables.
• Basic data modelling and visualization concepts.
