Architectural & MEP Draftsman – Permit Drawings (USA/Canada)

About the role

ArchRenders is seeking a skilled Draftsman to create complete architectural, structural, and MEP/HVAC drawing sets for permit approval across the United States and Canada. The role requires strong attention to detail and familiarity with North American building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full architectural drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Develop structural drawing sets for permit submission, covering foundations, framing, rebar, and connection details.
• Create MEP/HVAC drawing sets with layouts, schematics, and load calculations.
• Ensure all drawings comply with local code requirements for the targeted regions.
• Collaborate with the architectural team to maintain consistency and accuracy across all documents.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing permit drawings for USA/Canada projects.
• Strong understanding of wood, concrete, and steel construction.
• Familiarity with North American building codes and standards.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
