Architecture Manager – Government of Punjab

About the role

The Communication & Works Department of the Government of Punjab is seeking an experienced Architecture Manager on a PPS‑9 contract. The role will lead architectural planning, design and execution for departmental infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with government standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in architectural planning, design and execution of departmental projects.
• Prepare, review and maintain technical drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, design and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure projects meet safety requirements, government regulations and architectural standards.
• Support senior staff in project approvals, reporting and documentation processes.
• Provide architectural input during project budgeting, planning and review stages.
• Maintain adherence to departmental ethics, SOPs and public‑sector compliance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Architecture from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 7 years of post‑qualification experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Strong knowledge of public‑sector standards, regulations and technical requirements.
• Ability to work effectively within a structured, government‑led project environment.
