Area Manager – Sales & Distribution (Peshawar)

About the role

PMI is seeking an Area Manager to lead sales and distribution activities in Peshawar. You will be responsible for growing market share by analysing the market, coordinating with third‑party partners and ensuring the execution of the distribution strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans to achieve shipment volumes, in‑market sales and secondary sales targets.
• Manage distribution metrics such as coverage, hit rate and call frequency.
• Communicate compensation structures and incentives to distributors and field sales representatives.
• Mentor distributors and DSRs on incentive and performance management (ICM) implementation.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, identify high‑potential points of sale and support contractual negotiations.
• Lead third‑party merchandising teams and ensure point‑of‑sale material maintenance.
• Monitor compliance with PMI policies, local laws and marketing codes.
• Collect and update market intelligence, retail dynamics and competitor information.

Required profile

• BBA degree from a recognised institute.
• 3‑5 years of experience in field sales or distribution management.
