Area Sales Manager – Consumer Sales (FMCG/Consumer Healthcare)

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Area Sales Manager to lead our consumer sales operations in the FMCG and consumer healthcare segment. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, and strengthening distributor partnerships across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, coach and monitor the performance of Sales Officers and field teams.
• Manage distributor relationships to ensure sustainable growth.
• Expand market coverage and improve outlet productivity.
• Implement company sales policies, trade programs and merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock availability, distribution efficiency and report sales performance.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Graduate in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in FMCG or consumer healthcare.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
