Area Sales Manager - Foodpanda

About the role

Foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a highly driven Area Sales Manager for its team in Pakistan. The role suits someone who wants hands-on exposure and a direct impact, with a track record as a significant individual contributor who works independently while staying close to management. The position is based in Karachi.

Key responsibilities

• Hold external face-to-face meetings with vendors, provide onboarding training manuals tailored to each partner, support vendor issues and stay in regular contact with them.
• Onboard restaurants and support their incubation across different locations in the city.
• Work closely with Supply, Live Operations, Sales, Account Management and Content teams so that tasks are accurate and completed on time.
• Research accounts, identify stakeholders and decision-makers and generate interest in foodpanda.
• Oversee newly onboarded vendors and drive operational excellence on metrics such as commercial performance, internal tools and systems, plus special projects.
• Develop vendors after acquisition, maximising their potential through onboarding and incubation support.
• Manage and resolve vendor inquiries, issues and escalations, and ensure a smooth vendor journey.
• Visit fields daily to check that targeted shops are onboarded properly.
• Bring remaining strategic brands onto the foodpanda portal and ensure no key accounts or cuisines are missed in the assigned region.
• Maintain vendor logs and update inventory records in Salesforce.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales, Marketing or a business-related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in field sales or key account management.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter approach, integrity and ability to lead and develop oneself and a high-performing team.
• Ability to understand all sales functional areas, including channel and category sales.
