Assembly Supervisor - Electric Bikes

About the role

Weox Motocraft, an electric mobility company building an electric bike brand in Pakistan, is hiring a hands-on Assembly Supervisor for its production and assembly department in Karachi. The supervisor oversees daily CKD assembly operations, allocates work, coordinates parts availability and monitors production progress, while staying on the factory floor with mechanical troubleshooting, technician training and coordination with electrical and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the assembly line: review supplier manuals, component lists and assembly instructions; organize workstations, tools, fixtures and material flow; help write checklists and standard work instructions; support trial assembly and record labour time, defects and improvements.
• Run daily production: plan activities by schedule and material availability, assign tasks by skill and workload, monitor work in progress, supervise mechanical fitting and electrical installation, and escalate shortages and defects.
• Quality and troubleshooting: follow approved specifications, check fastener torque, alignment, wiring routing and connector security, work with the EV technician on battery, motor, controller and wiring faults, coordinate rework with the Quality Inspector, and investigate recurring defects.
• Team leadership and safety: train technicians in assembly methods, tool use and safe handling, enforce PPE, ensure batteries and electrical components are handled correctly, stop unsafe work and keep workstations tidy using 5S principles.
• Materials and reporting: coordinate with the store team on parts availability, record shortages, damaged parts and unused returns, and keep daily records of output, work in progress, defects, rework and downtime.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of practical experience in motorcycle assembly or production, including at least 1 year supervising an assembly or production team.
• Strong understanding of motorcycle mechanical systems, fitting and assembly processes.
• Ability to allocate work, train technicians and monitor production.
• Clear communication in Urdu and sufficient technical English to understand supplier instructions.
• Preferred: experience with CKD motorcycle assembly or electric two-wheelers, EV batteries, BMS, motors, controllers and wiring harnesses, knowledge of 5S and root-cause analysis, and a DAE or relevant technical degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.

Required skills

• Use of torque tools and interpretation of assembly instructions, component lists and basic technical drawings.
• Excel or similar tools for maintaining records.
• Practical troubleshooting and attention to detail.
