Assistant Category Manager E-Commerce

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Assistant Category Manager to support the growth and management of the Consumer Electronics category across e‑commerce and omnichannel channels.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer demand to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels while coordinating with suppliers and operations teams.
• Negotiate pricing, trade terms, rebates, exclusive launches, and cooperative marketing support with manufacturers and distributors.
• Ensure consistent product listings, pricing, and merchandising across digital marketplaces and physical retail channels.
• Analyze sales, inventory, pricing, and profitability data to drive category performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in category management, buying, commercial strategy or product merchandising, preferably in consumer electronics and e‑commerce.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms and sales reporting tools.
