Assistant Engineer – Quality Control

About the role

Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited is seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer for Quality Control to join its Steel Division in Nooriabad. You will support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department, ensuring that pipe and coating products meet client specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with API Q1 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Supervise inspectors across pipe and coating inspection stations.
• Manage internal and external quality audits and prepare work instructions.
• Coordinate inspections with client representatives, third‑party inspectors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify training needs for quality staff and deliver focused training sessions.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety at all QC stations.
• Analyze rejection/acceptance rates and monitor the annual QA/QC budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing, or Metallurgy engineering (minimum 3.0 CGPA).
• 2–6 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with ISO/API QMS exposure.
• Maximum age of 32 years.
