Assistant Manager Internal Audit

About the role

Nestlé's Internal Audit team in Lahore seeks an Assistant Manager to provide risk-based, objective assurance, advice and insights that enhance and protect the organisation's value, reputation and sustainability. The role supports governance and control by ensuring the reliability of financial and operational information, safeguarding of assets, effectiveness of operations and compliance with policies and regulations. It is a full-time, onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal audit engagements across Nestlé entities, including head offices, businesses, sales offices, factories, distribution centers, shared service centers, third-party providers and newly acquired businesses.
• Work with the Audit Team Leader to run preliminary risk assessments, review documentation, interview stakeholders and start testing.
• Prepare detailed audit working papers documenting findings and supporting conclusions.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and resolve issues proactively.
• Run special reviews and ad hoc assignments such as fraud investigations and cross-functional projects.
• Follow up audit findings and recommendations to strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• CA, CMA, ACCA or a degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Environment & Sustainability, AI or Data Sciences.
• CIA, CFE or CISA certification is an advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in an international accounting/audit firm or a large FMCG organisation; experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing or Industrial Performance is an added advantage.
