Treasury Officer Internship

About the role

ACE Money Transfer, a UK-based fintech providing online remittance services, is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Treasury officer to support its Payout Side Operations Lead in daily Treasury activities. The role is supervised closely, with approvals, decisions and bank relationships staying with the lead, giving a structured environment to learn how Treasury works in a fast-moving international payments business. The internship covers cash management, Treasury controls, banking processes and payout operations.

Key responsibilities

• Help monitor daily payout-side cash balances, funding needs, liquidity positions, FX deals and wire settlements
• Prepare and maintain payout funding trackers, and help fund payout accounts on time, within bank and currency cut-off times
• Track fund allocation to payout partners and flag pending or insufficient balances; support funding planning for weekends, public holidays and high-volume periods
• Monitor pending FX deals, wires and settlements, and report settlement breaks, rejected transactions and data discrepancies
• Prepare reconciliation files and keep transaction confirmations, bank records and settlement evidence accurate
• Help prepare daily updates on funding, partner balances and settlement status, and provide inputs for cash-flow and payout cash-requirement reporting
• Follow maker-checker and four-eye controls, approved Treasury policies and confidentiality requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome
• A basic understanding of banking, payments, cash management or Treasury operations is preferred
• Attention to detail, organisation, time management, clear communication, discretion and willingness to learn

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with accurate handling of data and reports
