Assistant Manager Sales – Freight Forwarding & Logistics (Import)

About the role

The company is seeking an Assistant Manager Sales to drive business growth in the freight forwarding and logistics sector, focusing on import operations. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and ensuring smooth shipment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Visit the market and conduct client meetings to generate new business opportunities.
• Cold‑call potential customers and follow up on leads.
• Prepare and submit sales call reports and recovery reports.
• Recover payments from debtors and manage receivables.
• Register shipments for customers and provide shipment status updates.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues, and gather feedback for service improvement.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
• BBA or MBA in Marketing or Supply Chain.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
