Assistant Sales Manager - Mutual Funds & Pension Funds

About the role

Al Meezan Investment Management Limited, an Islamic asset management company in Pakistan, is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Sialkot. The role supports sales targets for mutual funds and pension funds, builds relationships with individual and institutional clients and promotes Shariah-compliant investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales targets for mutual funds and pension funds.
• Develop and manage relationships with individual and institutional clients.
• Conduct client meetings, explain product features and associated risks, and prepare proposals and presentations.
• Follow up on leads to convert prospects into investors.
• Collaborate with the sales team to plan and run local marketing and outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate sales and client records and report regularly on sales performance to management.
• Stay informed on market trends, regulatory guidelines and product offerings to give clients clear, compliant information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Strong sales and business development skills, including client relationship management and lead conversion.
• Knowledge of investment products, mutual funds, pension funds and basic capital market concepts.
• Understanding of Islamic finance and Shariah-compliant investment principles, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Prior experience in financial services, asset management or banking sales is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Analytical and numerical abilities for interpreting performance data and preparing sales reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
