Associate Art Director

About the role

A multi-award-winning digital creative agency, Grey Density, is looking for an Associate Art Director / Art Director. The agency works with local and international chapters of major brands such as Mountain Dew, Lays, Oreo and Gatorade, and wants creative, energetic and motivated people to join its team.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and interpret client briefs.
• Design social media posts and covers, online ad artworks, animated post artwork, UI and key visuals.
• Use generative AI tools to explore concepts, build mood boards and present quick visual routes at pitch and ideation.
• Design print materials such as packaging, key visual adaptations, stationery and publications.
• Keep budget, time and production constraints in mind and adhere to brand identity guidelines.
• Collaborate with account managers, the creative team, the community management team and other designers on projects ranging from social media posts to packaging and full-scale branding.
• Ensure artwork is correct, in the right format and size before being sent to account or social media managers, and incorporate feedback.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of prior experience in graphic design.
• Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
• Relevant education or training.
• Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with AI generation, digital design, typography, colour, layouts, illustrations, photo manipulation, print production, image processing and packaging design.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and other visual design and wireframing tools.
