Associate Finance – Tax & Compliance

About the role

The Associate Finance will support the Head of Tax in executing financial postings and managing end‑to‑end tax operations. This role focuses on tax planning, compliance, and strategy execution while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax optimisation strategies to maximise efficiency and compliance.
• Conduct tax due diligence and support transaction structuring for new ventures, M&A, and divestitures.
• Manage tax audits, notices and proactively mitigate tax risks.
• Prepare, review and reconcile tax reports and financial data, ensuring accurate tracking of income, assets, liabilities and tax obligations.
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns with authorities such as FBR, PRA, SRB and withholding tax submissions.
• Perform tax reconciliations, maintain supporting documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process vendor and contractor payments, including advances, deductions, withholding taxes and penalties.
• Maintain sales ledgers, verify revenue reports and reconcile collections with bank statements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on tax matters and support day‑to‑day taxation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, compliance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication, organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
