About the role
The Associate Professor will join the faculty of a teaching hospital, delivering education to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students while also contributing to patient care and research.
Key responsibilities
- Teach medical students through lectures, tutorials and supervised clinical rotations.
- Develop and update course materials and guide students in acquiring clinical skills.
- Mentor junior faculty and trainees, providing academic advising.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly work and serve on departmental committees.
- Provide patient care within the specialty, modeling best clinical practices and interprofessional collaboration.
Required profile
- Medical degree with completed specialty training and eligibility for local licensure.
- Prior academic experience at lecturer, assistant professor or equivalent level.
- Established clinical competence in a recognized medical specialty.
- Evidence of research activity such as peer‑reviewed publications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teaching and teamwork.
