Executive/Sr. Executive – Quality Control (Packaging)

About the role

The Executive/Sr. Executive – Quality Control (Packaging) is responsible for performing timely physical and chemical testing of packaging materials to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role supports product release, regulatory submissions, and continuous improvement of quality control processes within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical testing of packaging materials in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Ensure timely testing and release of packaging materials within approved lead times.
• Review relevant SOPs, specifications, and guidelines before initiating assigned tasks.
• Coordinate and monitor packaging material machine trials and evaluate trial outcomes.
• Prepare analytical reports in SAP and maintain complete, accurate, and traceable raw data records.
• Maintain documentation and records in compliance with GMP and data integrity requirements.
• Prepare and submit packaging material dossiers for regulatory submissions.
• Review and approve packaging artworks, print proofs, shade cards, and related specifications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharm‑D), or a related field from an HEC‑recognized university.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in Quality Control, specifically in the packaging section within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control procedures, packaging standards, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.

Required skills

• SAP for analytical reporting and data management.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance and documentation.
