Associate Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our products. You will work closely with experienced engineers and mentors, gaining exposure to modern software engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software features under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable Java code and contribute to high‑performance applications.
• Support API design using object‑oriented principles.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and team planning.
• Learn and contribute to full‑stack development with TypeScript and Node.js.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or final year student).
• Up to 6 months of software development experience through internships, projects or personal work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on software quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Java and object‑oriented programming.
• Spring Boot framework.
• TypeScript and Node.js.
• Frontend: Angular, React.
• Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Neo4j, DynamoDB.
• Docker and basic Kubernetes knowledge.
• Git version control and CI/CD principles.
• Exposure to AWS, Kafka, GraphQL, SonarQube.
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum), microservices and TDD.
