Associate Software Engineer - ROR

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our development team. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with around six months of professional experience who are eager to grow their skills in Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new features.
• Contribute to frontend tasks using React.js or other modern frameworks when needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug issues, troubleshoot bugs, and support application enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering workflows.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks.

Required profile

• Approximately 6 months of software development experience.
• Good understanding of Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with React.js or other frontend frameworks (a plus).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git or other version‑control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM PKT).
