Associate/Assistant Professor of Psychology (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Department of Psychology at MY University in Islamabad is hiring qualified academics for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor positions. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, guiding student research, and contributing to the department’s scholarly output.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures across core psychology areas (clinical, cognitive, developmental, organizational, etc.).
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Publish original research in peer‑reviewed, HEC‑recognised journals.
• Participate in curriculum design, course development, and academic advising.

Required profile

• PhD in Psychology (preferred for Associate Professor) or M.Phil./PhD for Assistant Professor; degree must be HEC‑recognised.
• Associate Professor: 5‑7 years of university‑level teaching/research with a strong publication record.
• Assistant Professor: Minimum 2‑3 years of teaching/research experience; fresh PhDs may be considered.
• Preferred specialisations: Clinical, Organizational, Educational Psychology, or Neuropsychological Assessment.
