Audit Manager – Lead Audit Team for Diverse Clients

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to plan, manage and lead an audit team delivering high‑quality assurance and compliance services for a diversified client portfolio. The role involves overseeing complex audit engagements, maintaining client relationships and driving the financial performance of the audit practice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and lead audit teams to execute audits for public interest entities, IPOs, due‑diligence, valuation and special audit projects.
• Perform high‑level reviews of high‑risk engagements to ensure working papers and reports comply with relevant standards and by‑laws.
• Monitor timelines and work progress to guarantee timely delivery of quality services.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing consultancy and presenting audit findings.
• Manage team financials, including budgeting, work‑in‑progress, billing and collections, and achieve division performance targets.
• Coach, motivate and train team members, delivering feedback and fostering professional growth.
• Track and approve staff KPIs, reporting results to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading audit engagements for a range of clients, including public interest entities.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to present complex audit findings clearly.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple projects.
• Leadership experience in coaching and developing audit professionals.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of audit standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
