Audit Trainee

About the role

This position offers hands‑on experience supporting international client engagements while gaining practical exposure to global auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and assurance processes used by international businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior team members with audit fieldwork, testing procedures, and vouching supporting documentation.
• Perform basic analytical procedures and verify the accuracy of client financial data and schedules.
• Support compliance assignments, financial reporting tasks, and audit file documentation under international frameworks across diverse industries such as real estate, hospitality, and taxation.
• Organize, clean, and analyze client financial records using Microsoft Excel.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to deliver timely audit deliverables for international clients.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, or actively pursuing professional certifications (ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data formatting, basic analysis).
• Strong attention to detail, professional skepticism, and effective communication skills.
• Full commitment and comfort working onsite during night‑shift hours.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High energy, sharp eye for detail, and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced BPO environment.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt within a structured audit team.
