AutoCAD Designer – Karachi

About the role

The AutoCAD Designer will create, revise, and manage technical drawings for construction projects, working closely with engineering and site teams. This position ensures that all design documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and modify architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
• Convert design sketches and site instructions into detailed working drawings.
• Produce shop drawings, as‑built drawings, and maintain drawing registers and revision logs.
• Coordinate with engineers and consultants to incorporate design changes.
• Support quantity take‑offs and drawing‑based measurements.
• Print, distribute, and archive drawings for site and office use.
• Assist with 3D modeling or rendering for presentations when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper backup of design files.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Draftsmanship.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D drafting for construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, details, and standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
