AWS Engineer – Cloud (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high‑traffic applications. This remote contract position offers the chance to work with a global leader in IT services, focusing on performance, cost‑efficiency, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor system health with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for compliance and team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) on AWS.
