AWS Engineer - Cloud (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high‑traffic applications. This remote contract position allows you to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to optimize performance, cost, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor system health with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third‑party tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to security and cost optimization.

Required skills

• AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent experience
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting
• CI/CD tools: AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy
• Monitoring: CloudWatch, CloudTrail
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes on AWS
