Biomedical Engineer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Biomedical Engineering intern to join Labex, a leading provider of laboratory equipment and diagnostics in Pakistan. The position offers hands‑on experience supporting the design, maintenance, and optimisation of biomedical devices used in laboratory settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in installing, calibrating, and testing laboratory biomedical equipment under senior engineer supervision.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and performance evaluations on diagnostic tools and instruments.
• Support product improvement projects through data collection, literature reviews, and simple experiment design.
• Collaborate with the team on documentation and safety‑compliance activities.

Required profile

• Current enrollment in a Biomedical Engineering or related programme (2nd or 3rd year preferred).
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
