Biomedical Equipment Technician – Remote (Field Service)

About the role

Recruit AI is seeking a dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to join its Field Service & Maintenance team. The position is primarily remote but requires frequent on‑site visits to customer locations to install, maintain, and repair medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of biomedical and healthcare equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in medical devices, executing mechanical and electronic repairs.
• Carry out calibration procedures and performance verification tests to ensure equipment accuracy.
• Conduct safety and compliance testing in line with healthcare regulations.
• Provide on‑site technical support during field service visits and assist with equipment installation and user orientation.
• Document all service activities, prepare detailed reports, and maintain maintenance records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
• Up to two years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or a similar technical role.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple service requests, and travel extensively.
