Biomedical Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams within the operating theatre. The role involves preparing and managing instruments, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring accurate post‑operative inventory tracking. This position is based in Sukkur, serving both Sukkur and Larkana hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct technical assistance to surgeons and operating‑room staff during assigned procedures.
• Inspect and verify completeness and functionality of instrument sets before surgery and report any issues after the case.
• Handle intra‑operative implants and tools, delivering them to the surgeon in a timely manner.
• Re‑organize and store instruments in designated trays immediately after each procedure.
• Document consumption by sending post‑surgery photos and details, and paste implant stickers onto office sheets for accurate records.

Required profile

• BS or Diploma in Surgical Technology or a related field.
• Up to one year of experience working in an operating‑theatre environment.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of surgical instrument handling.
• Familiarity with operating‑theatre (OT) protocols.
• Instrument inspection and tray management.
