Branch Manager

About the role

NRSP Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Khanewal branch in Pakistan. This full‑time, on‑site position will be responsible for driving the branch’s performance, ensuring compliance, and promoting financial inclusion for low‑income communities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including staff supervision and customer service coordination.
• Manage loan and deposit portfolios, monitor performance against targets, and ensure sound credit and risk management.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, community stakeholders, and local partners.
• Identify business growth opportunities and support financial inclusion initiatives.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate branch personnel, handling escalated customer issues.
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in branch management, retail banking or micro‑finance operations.
• Strong leadership, staff supervision and performance management abilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in credit evaluation, portfolio management and risk assessment.
• Excellent customer relationship and community engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with micro‑finance principles and rural or semi‑urban markets.
• Integrity, strong organizational skills and commitment to ethical banking.
