Business Application Support Specialist

About the role

The Business Application Support Specialist ensures smooth operation of sales‑related IT applications, maintains data accuracy and supports system performance across the South region.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure seamless functionality of sales applications and resolve field and distributor‑related system and data issues.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, onboarding and off‑boarding activities.
• Handle support tickets within agreed SLAs and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external suppliers on application problems, system changes, SKU updates and enhancements.
• Conduct regular application health checks to maintain system performance, reporting accuracy and data integrity.
• Maintain IT asset records, perform periodic audits and deliver user training on applications and assets.
• Support IT projects and ensure effective coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience with IT systems, business applications, databases or cloud services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering user training and supporting end‑users.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and data‑analytics tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Working knowledge of Python.
