Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding)

About the role

Aston International, a global shipping and logistics provider offering freight forwarding, warehousing, last-mile delivery and customs clearance, is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive (Freight Forwarding) in Karachi. The role focuses on finding and pursuing new business in freight forwarding and related logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation and follow-up.
• Build and maintain client relationships, manage key accounts and prepare proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Work with operations and pricing teams to develop competitive solutions, track market trends and competitor activity, and help set sales strategies and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales systems, attend client meetings and industry events, and uphold high standards of customer communication.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain, preferably in a client-facing or sales role.
• Ability to work on-site in Karachi, manage several priorities and meet sales and revenue targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of international trade, shipping documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
