Business Development Executive - Freight Sales

About the role

LDP Logistics is looking for a confident, commercially minded and proactive professional to manage client communications, support business growth and coordinate smoothly with US-based customers. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, understands customer needs and takes ownership of tasks and outcomes with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, pitch and close new shipper accounts across freight modes.
• Manage and grow existing accounts by winning more lanes and volume.
• Price loads and negotiate rates to protect margin.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, resolving issues quickly.
• Work closely with operations and carrier teams to ensure on-time, problem-free deliveries.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in the CRM.
• Meet monthly revenue, margin and new-account targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 2-4 years of international sales experience in US-based companies.
• A proven record of meeting or beating sales targets.
• Good understanding of the B2B sales cycle, pricing and closing deals.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work shift timings aligned with client time zones.

Required skills
