Business Development Manager - Life Insurance

About the role

EFU Life Assurance, a leading life insurance provider in Pakistan, is hiring a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager for its Karachi Cantt Branch. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business, building strong client relationships and promoting life assurance products that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect potential clients and identify new business opportunities
• Conduct meetings and presentations, explain product features and benefits, and guide customers through sales and onboarding
• Collaborate with branch leadership to achieve sales targets and prepare regular performance reports
• Take part in marketing and outreach activities
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory guidelines to deliver compliant service

Required profile

• Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation and closing deals
• Client relationship management, with a focus on customer service, follow-up and long-term retention
• Communication and negotiation skills for effective meetings and presentations
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance or financial products; life assurance or banking experience is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• Comfortable working on-site in Karachi and visiting clients in the field

• Proficiency with common office software and reporting tools for tracking sales and performance
• Ability to work toward defined targets and manage time effectively
