Business Development / Software Sales Partner

About the role

Y2K Solutions, a Karachi‑based software development firm, is looking for a Business Development / Software Sales Partner to grow its customer base across Pakistan. You will identify business opportunities, present ready‑to‑use or custom software solutions, and guide prospects through the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop qualified opportunities among retailers, pharmacies, distributors and other organisations.
• Conduct prospecting, client meetings, product demonstrations and solution presentations.
• Analyse customer workflows and recommend suitable POS, pharmacy, retail, inventory or custom software.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline with accurate records of leads, activities and forecasts.
• Coordinate with technical and implementation teams to ensure smooth handover.

Required profile

• Proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and close B2B software or technology sales.
• Strong consultative selling skills – discovery questioning, needs analysis, solution mapping, objection handling and negotiation.
• Confident communication and relationship‑building with business owners, managers and decision‑makers.
• Self‑motivated, target‑focused and able to work independently while collaborating with product and implementation teams.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Knowledge of retail and inventory management software.
• Use of CRM tools for pipeline and activity tracking.
