Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The primary focus is to support the migration of our on‑premises Microsoft BI platform to a modern Azure data platform while maintaining the existing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current SQL Server‑based data warehouse solutions and extract embedded business logic.
• Translate legacy T‑SQL business rules into Azure‑based data pipelines and data models.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects.
• Support and maintain the existing SQL Server BI environment throughout the migration.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to validate migrated solutions.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and testing to ensure functional parity.
• Work with the data engineering team to design scalable cloud‑based solutions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and modernize ETL and reporting processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer, SQL Developer, or Data Warehouse Developer.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T‑SQL programming.
• Good understanding of data‑warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS (multidimensional).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex business processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
