Business Operations Associate

About the role

Tajir is building a next‑day delivery platform for retail stores across Pakistan. As a Business Operations Associate you will tackle unsolved, cross‑functional problems that impact the efficiency of our supply chain, finance and growth teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own a problem from identification through implementation and hand‑over.
• Analyse dispatch, order and delivery data and conduct on‑site investigations (warehouse, delivery routes, markets).
• Break down vague issues into actionable components and prioritize solutions.
• Design fixes – ranging from process changes to building new tools – by writing specifications and collaborating with engineers.
• Automate manual tasks, run the solution, monitor key metrics and ensure sustained improvement.
• Document outcomes and transfer ownership to the appropriate team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Comfortable working with data and conducting field research.
• Ability to collaborate across operations, supply‑chain, finance and engineering teams.
• Proactive communication skills to explain decisions and hand over solutions.
