Carrier Relations Representative

About the role

This role is essential to Sage Freight’s logistics and brokerage operations, ensuring reliable carrier capacity, competitive rates, and smooth freight movement. You will build strong carrier relationships, manage communication throughout each shipment’s lifecycle, and apply market knowledge to optimise service and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Source carriers and secure timely shipment coverage.
• Build and maintain long‑term carrier relationships.
• Negotiate rates and optimise costs while preserving service quality.
• Monitor market trends and stay active on load boards.
• Vet carriers to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Proactively resolve in‑transit issues and communicate updates effectively.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards is a plus.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or carrier sales is preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Divine Gardens office in Lahore.
