Business Planning Executive

About the role

Zara Shahjahan is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Planning Executive in Lahore to support sales forecasting, inventory planning, product performance analysis and stock management. The role helps optimise inventory levels, improve product availability and support business decisions through effective planning and cross-functional coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Sales planning and forecasting: analyse sales trends, prepare sales forecasts and support business planning to achieve sales targets.
• Inventory and stock planning: monitor inventory levels, analyse stock movement and ensure optimal stock availability across stores.
• Collection and product performance: evaluate collection-wise and product-wise performance to identify fast-moving and slow-moving items and improvement opportunities.
• Cross-functional coordination: work with Retail, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Production and other departments to align business plans and operational requirements.
• Replenishment and stock allocation: plan stock replenishment and allocate inventory across stores based on sales performance, demand and stock availability.
• Reporting and analysis: prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, product performance and stock movement to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in business planning, demand forecasting, inventory planning or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Ability to interpret sales data and turn insights into effective business plans.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
