Cab Booking Operator/Dispatcher

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cab Booking Operator/Dispatcher to manage daily taxi operations for a UK‑based service operating from our office in Soan Gardens, Islamabad. The role involves coordinating bookings, communicating with drivers, and ensuring timely service delivery in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign customer bookings through dispatch management software such as Autocab, Icabbi or Cordic.
• Monitor driver availability and allocate jobs efficiently.
• Assist customers with new reservations, schedule changes, and booking updates.
• Track ongoing operations to maintain service standards and timely arrivals.
• Communicate route changes, service updates, and operational matters to drivers.
• Manage advance reservations, including airport and time‑critical bookings.
• Maintain accurate booking information and operational records.
• Report customer concerns and operational challenges to the appropriate team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience with dispatch software (Autocab, Icabbi, Cordic) or similar transportation coordination roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Proficient in using computer systems and business applications.
