CAD/CAM Cutting Machine Operator / GGT Operator

About the role

The CAD/CAM Cutting Machine Operator / GGT Operator will work on‑site in Karachi, operating advanced cutting equipment and software to transform digital garment patterns into accurately cut fabric pieces. This full‑time position supports the production line of a leading sustainable fashion manufacturer.

Key responsibilities

• Import, manage and nest pattern files using CAD/CAM and GGT software.
• Create markers and optimise fabric utilisation according to technical specifications.
• Operate cutting machines, monitor performance and carry out routine maintenance.
• Check cut pieces against drawings, record results and ensure quality and inventory control.
• Collaborate with pattern makers and production supervisors to meet cutting schedules.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of CAD standards and technical drawing for garment production.
• Experience operating CAD/CAM cutting machines in apparel or textile manufacturing.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustment and troubleshooting.
• Attention to detail, good measurement skills and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work on‑site in Karachi and meet high‑volume production deadlines.
