Caseworker – Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) Protection

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Caseworker to provide survivor‑centered case management and psychosocial support to women and girls affected by violence. The role involves assessing needs, developing safety and care plans, and linking survivors to essential services while ensuring their safety and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver age‑appropriate, survivor‑focused case management in line with Inter‑Agency guidelines, including needs assessment, basic counselling, and safety‑plan development.
• Provide information on available services, facilitate referrals, accompany survivors, and coordinate follow‑up.
• Distribute emergency cash and material assistance based on individual assessments and established protocols.
• Document all interventions, maintain case files, and adhere to strict data‑protection and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in regular case review meetings, coaching sessions, and post‑distribution monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, humanitarian partners, and service providers to strengthen referral pathways.
• Coordinate with MHPSS, child protection, health, and other sectors to ensure integrated support.
• Uphold security protocols, promote a safe working environment, and model survivor‑centered principles.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, gender studies) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality, non‑discrimination, and ethical standards.
