Cash Officer – Cash Management

About the role

Murkez Technologies is seeking a Cash Officer to support cash management for a US‑based client. The role focuses on day‑to‑day cash operations, including tracking, reconciling and reporting cash across multiple store locations, while also assisting with basic forecasting and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash activities across stores and reconcile cash deposits with bank statements.
• Prepare and share daily cash position reports for all locations.
• Track cash flow trends, flag unusual variances and help prepare simple cash forecasts.
• Support management with clear cash dashboards and variance reports.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to reduce cash handling errors and losses.
• Assist the transition from Smart Safe to Cash‑in‑Transit services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cash management or treasury.
• Strong numerical, reconciliation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear communicator, organized and detail‑focused.
• Ability to handle multiple stores and tasks simultaneously.
