Chief Medical Officer

About the role

Fatima Group seeks an experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead employee healthcare services at its Head Office. The CMO will oversee medical assessments, claims management, provider networking, and provide strategic medical guidance to HR and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial health assessments and coordinate follow‑up care for employees.
• Evaluate medical conditions and arrange specialist referrals.
• Advise HR and management on health‑related policies and decisions.
• Review, verify, and approve employee medical bills and claims in line with company policy.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure smooth reimbursement processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, and specialist doctors.
• Support wellness, health‑screening, and preventive‑care initiatives.
• Lead emergency response planning, including pandemic and large‑scale health risks.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution, preferably with a specialization in Medicine.
• FCPS (Medicine), MRCP, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Proven experience in clinical assessment, medical administration, and employee health management.
• Strong professional network with hospitals, consultants, and healthcare providers.
• Prior senior medical or administrative experience in the Pakistan Army (Colonel rank) is an advantage.
