Civil Project Site Engineer (Construction)

About the role

Our client GoodWill Construction is seeking a Civil Project Site Engineer to be based in Islamabad. The role involves organizing comprehensive site records, managing attendance, material receipts, site instructions and inspection registers, and producing progress reports to keep stakeholders fully informed.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and maintain a safe, efficient, well‑laid‑out site environment for materials and work areas.
• Prepare and update two‑week look‑ahead schedules, continuously tracking and reporting progress against targets.
• Coordinate daily activities involving contractors, labour forces, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Accurately prepare Bills of Quantities from project drawings and perform precise quantity take‑offs and on‑site measurements.
• Monitor executed quantities against the BOQ and promptly identify and report any variations.
• Complete and process all material and work requisition forms and maintain comprehensive site registers.
• Maintain detailed site files and records, including attendance, materials, site instructions, visitor logs, and inspection registers.
• Prepare regular daily and weekly progress updates and detailed monthly reports for client communication.
• Ensure all construction work complies strictly with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify, document, and close out snags and quality issues in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Based in Islamabad or able to commute daily to the site.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and strong communication with client representatives.
• Capable of maintaining accurate site records and producing detailed progress reports.
