Client Manager – Bookkeeping for Canadian Clients

About the role

We are looking for a Client Manager to handle bookkeeping for our Canadian clients from our Lahore office. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end processes and ensuring clear communication with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, perform bank reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
• Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances and assist with month‑end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Communicate with Canadian clients to obtain missing information and clarify accounting details.
• Use QuickBooks Online, Xero or other cloud‑based accounting software to keep financial data up‑to‑date.
• Assist senior accountants with filing, documentation and audit support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client‑specific accounting procedures.

Required profile

• ACCA Part‑Qualified or currently pursuing ACCA (minimum 8 papers cleared).
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience serving Canadian clients.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Xero or similar cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
