Clinical Psychologist / Counsellor (Freelance Telehealth)

About the role

Intellect is looking for Clinical Psychologists and Counsellors to join its telehealth platform and support clients' mental health and personal growth. The work is mainly done in scheduled 60-minute video sessions, and the role is a freelance remote position with flexible business hours. It suits people who want to supplement their current job or private practice; local candidates are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth or onsite mental health support for Intellect's clients
• Work on clinical cases such as depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addiction
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform

Required profile

• Master's or postgraduate diploma in Clinical Psychology
• AHPA registered
• At least 300 clinical hours
• Proficiency in Urdu
• Ability to do occasional onsite sessions
• Prior experience in EAP and/or counselling, and with group sessions
• Critical Incident Support Program experience preferred

Required skills

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or other evidence-based approaches (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, DBT, SFBT)
