Cloud Architect (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join a leading AI organization on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will design, build, and maintain highly scalable infrastructure that powers next‑generation artificial‑intelligence models across finance, healthcare, and engineering domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable Linux‑based infrastructure using Kubernetes and Prometheus.
• Monitor system health, analyse performance metrics, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Automate operational workflows with Terraform or Ansible to reduce manual effort.
• Respond to incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and improve reliability processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and high availability.

Required profile

• Strong background in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in monitoring and alerting with Prometheus.
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Ability to produce clear documentation and operational runbooks.
