Cloud & Automation Manager

About the role

The Cloud & Automation Manager leads the design, operation, and continuous improvement of JazzWorld's private cloud environments. This role ensures platforms are secure, performant, and automated to reduce manual effort and support rapid service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage private cloud platforms (VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Hyper‑V) and enforce cloud standards and architecture.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible and related tools.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management to lower manual workload.
• Monitor and optimise infrastructure performance, conduct capacity analysis and tuning.
• Own vulnerability and patch management programmes, ensuring compliance with remediation timelines.
• Build AIOps capabilities, implement predictive monitoring, anomaly detection and self‑healing workflows.
• Support DevOps and platform‑engineering initiatives, enabling automated platform upgrades and cloud‑native operations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive modernization and automation road‑maps.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in cloud, virtualization, containerisation and automation platforms.
